This world we live in is no more yours than it is mine. This world we live in is no more OURS than it is to the other inhabitants of it. This world we live in belongs to everyone and everything that was created to live here.
We humans has taken it upon ourselves to claim Earth as ours and everything else has become a victim of our actions. We believe that we do so much good for this place, we believe that we are creating a BETTER Earth to live in. But ask yourselves, why are we making it better? What is the reason to make something better if it was always GREAT? We, the 2 legged walkers, the speakers, the humans, the 'rulers', the 'dominators', have destroyed such a beautiful place, such a beautiful home for everyone and everything that we are desperately trying to "MAKE IT BETTER". We destroyed our home, and when I say OUR I mean both for us humans and the other inhabitants.
Plants and animals both have such a sustainable life cycle that they contributes to the health of the world and maintain a balance. We the 'rulers' destroy that health and destroy those that are maintaining it. How stupid are we? How can we be this destructive? When will we learn?
I often think to myself that we humans should all retire from Earth and let the animals and plants revive it and continue to live in prosperity.
Because of OUR greed, OUR pride, OUR stubbornness, OUR stupidity, there are dozens of plants and animals facing extinction, yes! because of US! Fair enough they're not the only ones that's suffering from our actions, WE ARE AS WELL!
Did you know that because of us there are less than 20,000 Tigers left?
Did you know that because of us there less than 100 Rhinoceros left?
Did you know that because of us there are less than 5,000 Snow Leopards left?
Did you know that because of us there has been over a 85% drop in Red Tuna?
Did you know that because of us there are limit amounts of Elephants left?
Did you know that because of us there wont be any Mountain Gorillas by 2025 left?
Did you know that because of us there are less than 2500 Panda Beers?
Did you know that because of us I can continue naming animals and plants that are facing extinction?
You probably didn't know, but I'm sure you aren't surprised!! We are nothing good to this world, we aren't even good to ourselves. Just take a look at the news, you will see our destructive force at work. Destruction of the world somewhere, someone, something.....EVERYTHING, because of US!
Deforestation, human invasion, hunting (for pleasure, for clothing, medicine, decoration), logging companies, contamination, pollution, tourism......just a few of the DESPICABLE human actions that are leading to the extinction of animals and plants.
We are now in a race with time, with the universe, to repair what we have damaged before time runs out on us. Ironic enough, the more we try to fix, the more we destroy, the faster the sand seeps down into the hour-glass. It's a shame what we've done to innocent animals, to beautiful plants, to our home, to ourselves!
